A Desire To Make Rosaries

I have, for many, many years had a desire to make Rosaries. I have procrastinated because I just didn't know where to begin. If anyone has a great tutorial or can help me get started I would so appreciate the help!

Me too! I would really love to make rosaries. If I find anything out I'll let you know. I did do some research previously and there are lots of online stores that sell the stones and other things you need to make rosaries. I also know of a guy whose mom makes them. I would like to run in to her!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I would love to teach you to make beaded rosaries, but it's a tough craft to teach with written instructions. I know of a tutorial for making twine rosaries, though, if you are interested I will forward the link.

RosaryArmy.com has a video you can order for making rosaries. I believe they still offer it.

God bless you for this ministry desire. Making rosaries for the soldiers is much needed too! They have strict requirements for battlefield rosaries but the chaplains said that as soon as they get some the soldiers clean out their supply, they are so very needed.

As someone once said: there are no atheists in foxholes.

Oh making rosaries is indeed a blessing. I was taught by a dear friend and if you were close by I would be happy to teach you. I suspect there might be someone in your church that could help you learn.

Here is a website that has free instructions for wire and cord rosaries. They also sell kits. I learned from a woman at my church and it is a little difficult to get at first, but now I love to do it. Hope this helps:
